 dtable\nAs part of its collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für i
 nternationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)\, the Humboldt Institute for Internet a
 nd Society organizes an invitation-only online roundtable on the 17th of M
 arch 2023\, in close collaboration with the Digital Transformation Center 
 in Morocco. At this online event\, international experts from the UK\, Col
 ombia and Estonia will discuss the topic of e-government with Moroccan pol
 icy representatives. It will focus on the question of: “How can we accel
 erate the production and adoption of e-government services in Morocco?”
  \nMorocco has one of the highest standards of quality of digital wellbei
 ng in Africa\, but there is still a need for improvement in regard to othe
 r countries worldwide. E-government represents an opportunity to improve t
 he lives of Moroccans and a new e-government strategy will be launched thi
 s year that aims to build a strong framework\, strengthen digital infrastr
 ucture\, adopt data-based strategies\, and digitalize administrative proce
 sses.\nThis roundtable aims to provide a common understanding of approache
 s and factors that are conducive to the successful implementation and adop
 tion of e-government services. We are delighted to welcome three e-governm
 ent experts who will share international best practices that could acceler
 ate and facilitate the production and adoption of e-government services in
  Morocco.\n \nThe event will be conducted in English and French\, a simul

 rsity of the Andes\, Bogotá\, Colombia\, is an expert on issues related t
 o transparency\, open government\, public policy development and the use o
 f new information technology and on the implementation of e-government in 
 Colombia.\n\n\n\nDr Keegan McBride\, Departmental Research Lecturer at the
  Oxford Internet Institute. He is an expert on topics such as digital gove
 rnment\, digital innovation\, the use of AI in the public sector\, digital
  well-being and happiness\, and government interoperability and data excha
 nge. Keegan will share his insights on how AI technologies influence the c
 reation and dissemination of e-government practices. \n\n\n\nCarmen Raal i
 s a Digital Transformation Advisor at the e-Estonia Briefing Center\, an N
 GO formed to share Estonia's digital expertise with the rest of the world.
  She will be speaking about the “success story” of Estonia’s e-gover
 nment and about the role of public-private partnerships for e-government.
