ms for the Public Interest\n26 September 2023\nCo-located with the 46th Ge
rman Conference on Artificial Intelligence | Wilhelminenhofcampus (HTW) B
 erlin\, Germany \nTheresa Züger &amp\; Hadi Asghari\n&nbsp\;\nAim\nThe n
umber of AI projects aiming to serve the common good or a public interest
is increasing rapidly. But often the information on these projects\, their
initiators\, funders\, methods and objectives is not transparent\, hinder
ing the goal of serving the public. Many AI applications touch upon sensit
ive areas with public wellbeing at stake\, such as public health\, mobilit
y\, and justice systems. In this interdisciplinary workshop we will connec
t public interest theory to the debate about AI projects and foster exchan
ge amongst existing projects that use AI to serve the public interest to e
 xplore common challenges\, methods\, and standards.  \nAgenda\n\n\n\n10:0
