Then you are the perfect addition to our team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) is looking for a committed student assistant as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"student-assistant-m-f-d-in-the-ora-project-80-hours-month\"><strong>Student assistant (m\/f\/d) in the OrA Project<\/strong> <strong>(80 hours\/month)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the research program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiig.de\/en\/research\/learning-knowledge-innovation\/\">\u201cKnowledge and Society\u201d,<\/a> we investigate the transformation of knowledge production, organization, and communication through digital innovations. Our current research project, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiig.de\/en\/project\/ora-organizational-adaptivity-in-the-german-higher-education-context-ora\/\">Organizational Adaptivity in the German Higher Education Context<\/a>\u201d (OrA) explores the digitalization of higher education, with a focus placed on examining teaching and learning innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"your-tasks\"><strong>Your tasks:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conducting independent research in the field of higher education and organizational research (e.g. literature review)<\/li><li>(Co)writing (academic) texts and proofreading<\/li><li>Assisting in the organization of fieldwork (e.g. surveys)<\/li><li>Supporting the planning of events (e.g. workshops) and reporting<\/li><li>Supporting external communication (e.g. for our website)&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"your-qualifications\"><strong>Your qualifications:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Enrolled in a higher education institution; preferably in a social science degree program<\/li><li>Interest in the research focus of the OrA project<\/li><li>Experience in writing academic texts&nbsp;<\/li><li>Fluent in English and German&nbsp;<\/li><li>Enjoys working in an interdisciplinary research team and has the ability to communicate across disciplines<\/li><li>Possess an independent and reliable workstyle, in addition to a curious mindset and passion for innovative thinking and collaboration&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-we-offer-you\"><strong>What we offer you:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tackling forward-looking and exciting topics related to higher education&nbsp; and science research<\/li><li>Working on a variety of research-related tasks<\/li><li>Opportunities to conduct academic research and make many new contacts within the HIIG network<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A highly motivated team that works very closely together and committed colleagues from various disciplines in a forward-looking institute in the heart of Berlin<\/li><li>The remuneration is based on the Berlin collective agreement for student employees (12,50\u20ac\/hour)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"to-the-application\">To the application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit your application with a short cover letter, CV, relevant certificates and your availability via our online form (in German or English).
