Artificial intelligence (AI) is a much-discussed topic, whether in political debates or in conversations around the kitchen table. For many people, however, its functions and applications remain unclear. The AI Compass offers a solution! Our card game decodes the fascinating world of AI systems in a playful way. It’s not just about entertainment, but also about taking a realistic look at current systems and their importance for the common good of our society.<\/p>\n

A special edition of the card game is now available from the following State Centres for Civic Education in Germany.<\/p>\n

The AI Compass is a result of the project Artificial Intelligence, explained in human terms<\/a>, a cooperation between the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) and the non-profit organisation neuland & gestalten, implemented by B\u00fcro f\u00fcr Sinn und Unsinn. The research project has developed a transdisciplinary approach with citizens and experts to create explanatory models that provide access to knowledge on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n
