It combines futures studies methods with topics and materials related to digitalisation and its impact on our society.<\/p>\n<p>It has been adapted to different levels and requirements for the specific areas of use in schools and universities. Here you will find the relevant resources to be used in the lower secondary school level or in a bachelor&#8217;s programme at university.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tWorkshops\n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\tEducational material for middle schools\n\t\t\t\t<p>In an educational context, the content can be used as creative material for school lessons by combining several exercises. Teachers will find below a proposal for a three-part workshop. You can do it with your students on a project day or split it into several lessons.<\/p>\n<p>You can also adapt the future skills workshop for use in your own lessons at a low threshold. Instructions can be found in the notes on each slide of the presentation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiig.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Future-Competence-Workshop_Middle-School_OER.pptx\">Download presentation<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/1a_4fImkVFYHZaZ9YlDi4DNSD2NSYPrOK\/edit?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=113461615627859218832&amp;rtpof=true&amp;sd=true\">Read presentation online<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\tEducational material for bachelor courses at university\n\t\t\t\t<p>For use at the university in bachelor seminars, a presentation and a corresponding concept paper were developed on the basis of the toolbox.<\/p>\n<p>The level is adapted to the university context. Topics include futures literacy and signals of change based on Daniel Miller&#8217;s thesis of the smartphone as a &#8220;transportable home&#8221;.
