Therese Koppe holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Visual Studies. Her bachelor’s thesis focusses on representation of migrants in selected German newspapers. After having worked in a theatre as an assistant director and with international film festivals, Therese earned a master’s degree in Documentary Practice in London. She worked as a research assistant at the Royal College of Art London’s design department on the project Stories of User Appropriation.
Therese is currently enrolled in the master’s programme Directing Documentary with Filmuniversity Konrad Wolf.
She joined the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in 2016.
