Jörg Müller, Prof. Dr.

Jörg Müller is a visiting professor in human-computer interaction at the University of Arts, Berlin. He holds a PhD from Münster University and studied computer science at the universities of Saarbrücken and Freiburg. His research interests in the field of human-computer interaction focus on urban computing and digital signage. He believes that very soon many surfaces in urban spaces will be digital and interactive, such that we will effectively live inside the Internet. He works on understanding how people interact with digital signage and creating new interactive experiences in urban spaces. For his work on interactive shop windows, he was awarded the Best Paper Award at CHI 2012.
