Katrin Werner holds a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Political Science and a minor in Law. While studying at Ludwig Maximilians University Munich, she was able to gain some entry level work experience in science communication at acatech – the National Academy of Science and Engineering. After completing an internship at Wissenschaft im Dialog, she decided to abandon her studies in Political Theory at Goethe University Frankfurt and move to Berlin, where she continued with a Master’s programme in “History and Culture of Science and Technology”.

At the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society, Katrin is supporting the management team as an editor. Her main areas of responsibility are public relations and maintaining the institute’s website.
