Dora Kaufman

Dora Kaufman is currently a researcher at Atopos, Center of Research at Sao Paulo University, Brazil and professor of Economy in the Digital Age graduate course, at FAAP. She holds a PhD in communication sciences, São Paulo University with PhD internship, Université Paris – Sorbonne IV; a Master degree in Communications and Semiotics, Pontifícia Universidade Católica; a MBA, Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais; and a B.S. Economics, Pontifícia Universidade Católica. In 2009 – 2010 she was Visiting Researcher and guest lecture in graduate course Information Science of Marketing and undergraduate course Introduction to Social Networking, Computer Science Department, Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. In 2012/2013 she headed the research “Collaborative Digital Architectures: a study of company-consumer networks in Brazil” supported by a group of seven companies – Google, Banco Itaú, Magazine Luiza, Grupo Abril, Tetra Pak, Serasa Experian and Tecnisa.

She has more than 30 years of professional experience in the market in different activities including senior positions in Investment banks and partner-manager in marketing agencies.
