Sofie Læbo Astrupgaard

Sofie Astrupgaard studies the flexibilization of work in the post-COVID-19 era, with a particular focus on the discourses and consequences of remote work. In her research, Sofie develops and applies methodological frameworks that integrate data-science techniques with more classical (qualitative) social science methods.

Sofie is a PhD Fellow at the Copenhagen Center for Social Data Science (SODAS), University of Copenhagen and visiting researcher at HIIG. She is part of the ERC-funded project DISTRACT, an interdisciplinary initiative exploring the attention economy across spheres in digitized Denmark. Sofie holds a BSc in Anthropology and an MSc in Social Data Science from the University of Copenhagen.
