On February 11, 2016, data experts as well as people with an interest in data protection met at the Walter Hallenstein Library of the Humboldt University in Berlin to discuss the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This has been the launch event in a series addressing different aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation in the next months, organised by the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) and the Walter Hallenstein-Institute for European Constitutional Law (WHI).
