Paul Vilchez
Paul Vilchez is an associated researcher and part of the research group Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Society. His research interest and doctoral thesis focus on the paradoxical relationship between sustainability and digitalization and how they are used to create new products and services.
Paul has two bachelor’s degrees in entrepreneurship and finance from the University of Houston, and a master’s degree in international business and sustainability from the University of Hamburg. He currently teaches business management and research methods at the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, and he is the sustainability manager for a German hotel and real estate group.
As part of the project “Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Global Digital Transformation“, Paul has researched the digital and sustainable imperatives and the novel challenges that entrepreneurs face in the global south.
