Paul Jackson, Dr.

After starting his career as a Systems Engineer with IBM, Perth, Paul worked in Berlin for 10 years as systems development manager for PSI AG. Returning to Australia, he managed development of IBM software products after which he worked as a Project Director and Information Management and Strategy Consultant. He has been an academic in the School of Business & Law at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia, where he was the Director of Edith Cowan University’s Research Centre for Innovative Practice.

Paul is currently an Associate Researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet & Society, Berlin, and consults to government and industry in technology, innovation and strategy. His own research focus is innovation management and policy, knowledge and information management, and technology strategy, generally from the perspective of social realism
