Melanie Chan

Melanie Chan is a student assistant for science communication at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG).

She is currently studying Responsibility in Science, Engineering and Technology (M.A) at the Technical University of Munich. She previously completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in History at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her main research interests lies at the intersection of global development and responsible research and innovation, looking at the social, ethical, and political dimensions of technology development and innovation processes. Before joining HIIG, Melanie worked as a digital marketing and communication specialist for 6+ years.
