Julia Schwanholz, Dr.

Dr. Julia Schwanholz is currently working as a political scientist at the University of Göttingen. Previously, she represented interim professorships for democracy and democratization research as well as comparative politics and Ethics in Political Management and Society at the Universities of Giessen, Kassel, and Duisburg-Essen (NRW School of Governance). Her expertise lies in parliamentary, democracy, and digital transformation research (including social media and the share economy). She has held research and teaching assignments in Australia at the University of Melbourne, Monash University (Melbourne) and Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane); and in Europe at Sciences Po/MaxPo (Paris) and the Universities of Groningen (NL) and Lund (SE).

At the HIIG she is a fellow in the research group Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Society.
