Johanna Teresa Wallenborn

Johanna is an associated researcher in the research project Public Interest AI at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society.

Johanna is a research assistant and lecturer for AI and Digital Art at the University of Art and Design at Offenbach where she is part of “KITeGG – Making AI tangible and understandable”, a BMBF-funded project connecting technology and society through design.

Previously, she worked as a curator, director and producer of cultural programmes at the intersection of art, technology and society in Seoul, Berlin, Frankfurt, Mexico City and Los Angeles. With a background in future studies, she investigates the impact of emergent technologies on culture and society and the role of art and design in mediating and engaging us in current and future issues.
