AI and climate – (how) do they fit together? Economic growth vs. sustainability – what focus does European AI need? In the context of the implementation of the White Paper on Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Representation of the European Commission in Germany in cooperation with the AI & Society Lab at HIIG has organised several roundtables. To discuss AI and various key topics, stakeholders from science, politics, business and civil society were invited. This event was held in German language.

Ziel der Veranstaltungsreihe ist es:

den Austausch unterschiedlicher Interessengruppen zum Thema KI anhand konkreter Praxisbeispiele fortzuführen;
herauszufinden, was den Standort Europa ausmacht und wie eine europäische KI konkret aussehen könnte;
Barrieren, Regelungslücken und Brachen in der Förderlandschaft auszumachen und zu diskutieren, welche Voraussetzungen ein Markt für europäische KI benötigt;
persönliche Kontakte zwischen den Teilnehmer*innen zu stärken, um gemeinsame Initiativen anzustoßen
