Thi s kick-off event will take place online and in English.\n\n \nSecond Meet ing of the Circle of Friends \nExpert roundtable\n14 April 2025 • 3.00 – 4.30 pm (CET)\nOnline\n \;\n\nAfter one year of DSA implementation and the successful launch of the Circle of Friends of the DSA Research Ne twork last November\, we are continuing the expert roundtable with our sec ond meeting in April. As a key element of the project\, the Circle of Frie nds serves as a sounding board for the research conducted within the proje ct as well as for the further direction of the project. Together with expe rts from NGOs\, regulatory bodies\, and academia\, we discuss emerging top ics around the DSA\, identify needs for scientific insight and explore dif ferent methods to fill those gaps. Embedded in a flexible and adaptable op erational framework that takes into account the dynamics of the field\, th e expert roundtable provides valuable input for shaping the project's rese arch priorities for 2025. It will also allow for taking into account recen t developments\, such as the first round of Risk Assessment Reports that w ere published in late 2024\, or the recent changes in the transatlantic po litical climate.\nAbout the DSA Research Network\nThe DSA Research Network aims to establish a unique space for communication and collaboration arou nd the implementation of the Digital Services Act\, with a strong focus on making recommendations for possible areas for reform early on. Following a network-based approach\, the project sets out to add value to already ex isting initiatives that have been formed to accompany the process of imple mentation.
