Blockchain for Lifesciences | Event

“Science is about trust, privacy and proof. So are the blockchain and cryptography.”

Blockchain organises digital assets decentralised and distributed. It makes data immutable, transparent and provable to the outside – at the same time subject privacy can be assured.

HIIG associated researcher Sönke Bartling is inviting to discuss visions on the upcoming blockchain (r)evolutions in the field of science, and knowledge creation. One point of the discussion will be whether Blockchain could be a technical solution to the current reproducibility crisis in science (see also the publication Blockchain for science and knowledge creation by Sönke Bartling and Benedikt Fecher ).

There will be presentations and an open mic for brainstorming. Please sign up for the event through meetup.
