Elisa Birkmann

Elisa Birkmann is a student assistant in the research group The evolving of digital society: concepts, discourses, materialities.

She is studying European Media Studies (B.A.) at the University of Potsdam. In her studies, she is particularly interested in the (pop) cultural narratives and metaphors that circulate socially regarding artificial intelligence.

Before joining HIIG, she gained work experience in journalism (SWRRBBSüddeutsche Zeitung), in political public relations (Blumberry) and in the field of science communication and event organisation (Centro Cultural de la Memoria Haroldo Conti, Buenos Aires).
