Alberto Bertello

Alberto Bertello is a Research Fellow in the Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Society research group at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society.

He is Assistant Professor in Business Organisation at the University of Turin, Italy, where he teaches Business Organisation and Organisational Behaviour.

Alberto has a PhD in Business and Management from the University of Turin, Italy. In his dissertation, he studied different facets of open innovation such as organizational challenges, opportunities, microfoundations, and theoretical developments. Currently, his research qualitatively explores the open innovation – grand challenges nexus in different empirical contexts such as crowdsourcing and university-industry-government collaboration.

He is also interested in exploring how digital technologies impact inter-organizational collaboration and the future of work.
