Christian Kobsda
Christian Kobsda has headed the Berlin office of the Max Planck Society since 2022. Prior to that, he was political advisor to the president of the Leibniz Association and managing director of the Global Learning Council, where he is still a member of the management team. Before joining the Leibniz Association, he worked on Industry 4.0 at acatech and was a scientific advisor in the Innovation Dialogue of the then German Chancellor. He is an associate researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society and co-founder of the blog journal Elephant in the Lab. He studied political science, philosophy and economics in Passau, Rostock and at the Free University of Berlin. He is interested in science policy advice, the digital transformation of learning and teaching, and science and innovation policy.
