Alexandros Alevizopoulos
Alexandros is a PhD Researcher at the Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London and a member of the DynamInt Research Group at Humboldt University Berlin. His work focuses particularly on emerging regulatory frameworks for online platforms and artificial intelligence.
His research revolves around platform regulation, content moderation, and the use of artificial intelligence systems in moderation processes. More broadly, he examines how large language models and AI-enabled infrastructures are reshaping epistemic authority, accountability, and governance in digital environments, particularly under the Digital Services Act and the evolving EU digital regulatory landscape.
Alongside his academic work, Alexandros has worked as a lawyer and regulatory counsel in the fields of privacy, platform governance, and AI governance. He previously worked within the Deloitte Legal network advising technology companies, SaaS providers, and online platforms on GDPR compliance, AI governance, cybersecurity, and technology transactions. He holds both an LL.B. and an LL.M. in Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is admitted to the Athens Bar Association.
