Jonah Wermter
Jonah Wermter is an associated researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) and a junior researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI). He works on the project “Journalism: Automating the News and journalistic Autonomy” of the DFG-funded research group “Communicative Artificial Intelligence (ComAI): The Automation of Societal Communication”. His main interest is on the influence of communicative AI on journalistic autonomy.
Jonah Wermter studied Statistics in the joint Masters Program of the Berlin Universities and Social Studies at the University of Cologne. He is a trained journalist by the Cologne School of Journalism (KJS) and gained work experience in several newsrooms.
