Theresa Züger studierte an der Universität zu Köln Theater-, Film- und Fernsehwissenschaft, Germanistik und Philosophie. Ihre Magisterarbeit befasste sich mit Internetethik und Internet Governance. Zuletzt arbeitete sie als Kommunikationsreferentin für Great Place to Work® Deutschland. Die Fragestellung ihrer Dissertation am HIIG behandelt digitalen zivilen Ungehorsam.
