Urs Kind, Dr.

Urs Kind studied culture and media science at the Humboldt university in Berlin and also film- and TV production at the filmuniversity Babelsberg. During his PhD in media economics he was working in the research project “dwerft” on developing technology for streamlining the process of film production funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Additionally he produced the fictional webseries DAS APARTMENT.

In his dissertation Urs Kind conducted research from the conception of successful YouTube-videos through to business models of digital media companies. He focused on identifying factors of user feedback that are responsible for the best possible attitude toward the add in the case of YouTube videos. The book is published in the series “media management and e-business” in 2018 by Gabler.
