Adrian Haase, Dr.

Adrian Haase studied Law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at Stellenbosch University (South Africa) with focuses on white-collar crime and international corporate law. In May 2013 he finished his legal clerkship with the Second State Exam, and started as a doctoral researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in September 2013.

As a member of the Network for Civil Security Law in Europe (KORSE), funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, he has examined the combating of cybercrime within the European Union for his doctoral thesis. In December 2017, his doctoral thesis “Computer crime within the European Criminal Law” was published in a the series Internet und Gesellschaft by Mohr Siebeck as an Open Access publication.
